Abu Dhabi Bucks fall to Hawks

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Dejounte Murray scored 25 points in his Atlanta debut and the Hawks beat the Milwaukee Bucks 123-113 Thursday in the NBA’s opener in the United Arab Emirates and Persian Gulf.

The groups will play pre-season in form on Saturday at the Etihad Arena.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 19 problems. Jevon Carter scored 17 points on the bench for Milwaukee.

Murray added nine assists, 8 rebounds and two blocked shots. His teammate in the back zone, Trae Young, added 22 problems with 3 assists. Murray acquired from the San Antonio Spurs for 3 first-round picks in the Hawks’ biggest offseason move.

Murray and Young combined to make thirteen of 16 knockout shots, all in the first half.

The game featured the 3 Holiday brothers of the NBA. Aaron Holiday had 16 problems and Justin Holiday added for the Hawks. Jrue Holiday had 12 problems for the Bucks.

De’Andre Hunter had 17 problems for Atlanta.
