The Times of Israel is a Jerusalem-based newspaper founded in 2012 to document developments in Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish world.
It was created through veteran UK-born Israeli journalist David Horovitz and his US-based financial partner. In the US, Seth Klarman. Horovitz is the founding editor, guilty of the site’s editorial content.
The Times of Israel has no partisan political affiliation. It seeks to provide unbiased existing occasions and provides a wide variety of analysis and opinion pieces.
We also highlight advances in Jewish communities throughout the Diaspora and therefore serve as a focal point for the Jewish world, informing and engaging tribal members everywhere.
Our purpose is for the site to serve as a platform for constructive debate on the demanding situations facing Israel, the region and the Jewish people. Instead of allowing anonymous posts, we encourage our readers to respond to our curtains on their own behalf through our commentary. system.

The Times of Israel is registered as “Zmanei Yisrael” (זמני ישראל) in the State of Israel.
Our editorial board is a small organization of exceptional Americans who have submitted their help to The Times of Israel in its plan-making phases, and whose input we will seek as we move forward.
It includes Sharon Ashley (former editor of The Jerusalem Report and former director of Israel Engagement at Hillel), Irwin Cotler (human rights activist and former Canadian justice minister), Efraim Halevy (former Mossad director, ambassador and national security adviser), Saul Singer (journalist and Start-Up Nation), and Ehud Yaari (Arab affairs commentator for Channel 2 news, journalist and).
Yehuda Avner (former ambassador and advisor to a succession of Israeli prime ministers) was a valued member of our editorial board until his death in March 2015.
