Among them more than 9,000 students, 21,000 with underlying conditions, more than 8,000 fitness and 400 pregnant, etc. , reports the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control.
The flu vaccination crusade in the region began on October 3. Health care workers, children living in orphanages, children’s homes, others staying in nursing homes, pregnant women, and others over age 65 can benefit from free flu vaccination.
The region has had influenza records since October 14. To date, 19 laboratory-confirmed cases have been reported. Not everyone was vaccinated.
