The British government has opened an investigation into the finances of a London-based church that has announced a “pest ion kit” that other coVID-19 people would say.
The Charity Commission announced Wednesday that it will open a new investigation into The Kingdom Church GB, expressing fear about the control of the devout organization.
The commission originally opened an investigation into Kingdom Church for its sale of so-called plague ion kits that it believes would cure and even cure the new coronavirus.
“This led to a liaison with the Southwark Council that had opened an investigation into the criteria for the sale of the kits,” the commission said.
“Since then, the Commission has reviewed the charity’s records, revealing considerations about its finances. The regulator is involved in the accuracy of the data provided to the Commission related to the charity’s income and expenses.”
Some of the research will read about quotes between the Kingdom Church and Bishop Climate Ministries, which the church said guilty of the coverage kits.
Helen Earner, director of regulatory facilities at the Charity Commission, said on a Wednesday that the new investigation stems from the findings of the former.
“Many will have been involved in the accusations related to the activities of this charity in relation to Covid-19, so it is right that we and others intervened,” Earner said.
“Our own review of The Kingdom Church GB has known other issues that require investigation, so we have now opened a formal investigation.”
On Wednesday, The Kingdom Church GB posted a link on its Facebook page to a product that sold the Divine Spiritual Cleansing Protection Kit, for $65.99.
The product in question, which includes virgin oil, thread and a prayer card, is advertised as non-secular benefits, a warning in the trailer rejects the claims of medical cure.
“You seek medical assistance if necessary. They are healing and healing products based on religion and herbal products,” the disclaimer says in part.
The product description indicates that it was created through the prophet Climate Wiseguy, whose official online page calls it “a great-looking type of God operating under an apostolic and prophetic anation”.
“He has more than 20 years of delight in building churches, educating and developing successful leaders, and turning the lives of everyone he comes into contact with,” he adds.
“God anointed Dr. Climate to be the pinnacle of leadership and example among the Body of Christ. His non-public motto is to equip the believer for meaningful ministry by helping him discover, expand, and deploy the gifts and talents God has given them.
