EREVAN, JULY 28, ARMENPRESS. Il it is planned to identify a university city in Armenia according to the bill on the approval of the National Education Development Program 2030.
During today’s cabinet meeting, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Artur Martirosyan, presented the assignment and said that the university city will expand network cooperation between educational institutions, clinical and productive organizations, with the presence of Virtual, Social and Physical Infrastructure.
“The complex measures are expected to double the existing number (around 7600) of foreign academics in Armenia,” he said.
Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan said that the university city with its nature and physical infrastructure identifies new criteria not only throughout Armenia, but also for Armenians in the diaspora and foreign students.
