Police in a giant enforcement hole at the scene of a single-vehicle fate twist in Barrie, Ontario, that claimed the lives of six young adults over the weekend.
On Wednesday, several researchers may be seen taking photographs near the structure on McKay Road and Veteran’s Drive.
Some officials were observed rappelling down the gap and returned to the surface with what appears to be a black bag of evidence.
Police have remained discreet on key points similar to the crash, saying their investigation “will take time. “
CTV News Toronto knew the six victims involved in the crash as Jersey Mitchell, 20, Haley Marin, 21, Curtis King, 22, Jason O’Connor, 22, Luke West, 22 and River Wells, 23.
The organization said it was missing Saturday before police were taken to the crash site at 2 a. m. sunday.
Investigators move on to the scene of a twist of fate that killed six other people in Barrie, Ontario, last weekend.
Family and friends of patients have been seen visiting the perimeter of the scene in recent days, placing flowers and writing messages in their memory at a makeshift monument under construction.
On Wednesday, River Wells’ mom went to the crash to find out what had happened to her son.
“It just doesn’t make sense. Why are they here in the first place,” Natalie Hawes, moved, told CTV News Barrie. “I want answers. I just want to hold back and I can’t even do that. “
Hawes remembered River as an amazing man, friend and brother who enjoyed being surrounded by other people and did not disappoint.
He added that River loves football and will attend the Boots and Hearts music festival. Hawes said her son had his first car 3 days before the crash.
“We miss him deeply. We will miss him,” he said. I don’t know what to do or say anymore. I’m still surprised and haven’t touched it yet. “
Hawes expressed his gratitude to those who continue to show their support for his circle of relatives and other families.
Barrie’s network was shocked by the tragedy. A vigil is planned for Saturday night to pay tribute to the six victims.
Meanwhile, a GoFundMe page was created for the victims’ families and has already surpassed its $60,000 goal.
“Our network has been shaken, our flags are at half-mast and six families are devastated by the loss of their loved ones. Let’s come together as a network and show our support,” the fundraising organization said on the page.
