A new COVID-19 check was opened in a parking lot in Vancouver.
Vancouver Coastal Health announced Wednesday that a new verification site on East 7th Avenue between Keith Drive and Glen Drive will be open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
People can walk, drive or drive without an appointment or transfer, according to fitness authorities.
“Identifying new instances of COVID-19 in a timely manner is vital to help prevent the spread of the virus on the network, and this new assessment center will contribute to those efforts,” it reads.
Those who show up will be evaluated before taking a test.
The press release states that the site will be open from nine a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Vancouver Coastal Health says it continues to monitor cases in the region and that testing is not recommended for others without symptoms.

Coughing or worsening cough.

Throat irritated.
Nose running.
