A terrifying video revealed the apocalyptic scenes in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, after a monstrous explosion devastated a market. The clip captured thick plumes of black smoke choking the sky as debris from the building erupted into a wall of flames. The surrounding street was filled with piles of debris and dust as helpless onlookers watched in horror as the scene unfolded. Apparent explosions can be heard in the video and reports speculate that the chimney exploded near a company where chimneys were stored, before the flames were temporarily consumed. it got out of control.
While the emergency continued its efforts to control the chimney, at least one user was found dead.
Dozens more were injured, and hours after the fire, firefighters were still looking to extinguish the towering flames.
Rescuers began a desperate search to locate and free survivors who were trapped under the burned remains of the building.
Reports from the scene that witnesses have already observed several injured survivors pulled from the rubble.
The explosion occurred at surmalu Market, a large popular grocery shopping mall about two kilometers from the city center.
The chimney reportedly originated in a chimney garage domain near the market, before a series of explosions spread around.
The precise cause of the chimney has not yet been officially proven and there is no quick understanding of what possibly triggered the chimneys.
The local government showed that a large emergency services presence had been on site to control the fire and treat patients at the scene.

Aik Kostanyan, a spokesman for the Ministry of Emergency Situations, showed that the death toll was one user was killed and 36 others were injured.
The figure is not yet definitive, as the emergency continues to move twisted steel and torn concrete through the explosion in search of those left under the rubble.
The Health Ministry said another 26 people were taken to hospital for treatment for injuries similar to the incident.
The severity of the injuries was not immediately clear, although 11 of the other 26 people taken for hospital care were minors.

The emergency at the scene was assisted by plainclothes volunteers as the pressing search for survivors ensued.
An Associated Press reporter at the scene saw rescuers pull two other people out of the market wreckage: a guy with an injured leg and a man who appeared unconscious.
Emergency Situations Minister Armen Pambukhchyan said two sisters were rescued alive from the rubble.
