UAE educational establishments will have to restrict attendance for students in person to 25% for the first two weeks
The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) and the Ministry of Education showed Tuesday night that a ”group of schools” has been responsible for implementing 100 percent remote education, as suspected cases of Covid-19 have been detected from the ” schools employed.
These suspicious cases were known among administrators and teachers, before students returned to campus, as the new school year began this week.
Precautionary measures to bring distance learning into effect will remain in effect until lab tests verify whether other people are inflamed or not.

“The ministry and NCEMA have shown that the school government will communicate directly with the parents and provide all updates on the examination formula and fitness,” he added.
“The Ministry of Education and NCEMA call on all students’ school workers and their families to cooperate and disclose any suspected cases of viruses or the presence of any symptoms to restrict the spread, as well as to run or send students to school if symptoms appear.”
NCEMA added that the public downloads its data only from official resources and does not spread rumors, while confirming that legal action will be taken against those who violate existing preventive measures.
In Dubai, Covid-19 PCR tests are not mandatory for students returning to their campuses, all staff will have to go through those tests, which is run by the Dubai government.
In preparation for the reopening of school establishments in Dubai, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), in cooperation with the emirate’s school regulator, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and the Covid-19 Command and Control Centre (CCC), conducted approximately 35,000 tests for teachers and administration in Dubai personal schools.
The tests, now completed, were carried out at the centres over a six-day period.
DHA has also introduced a 24/8, 800,588 back-to-school Covid-19 hotline to address the considerations of parents, academics and pandemics.

Also on Tuesday night, the Minister of Education of the United Arab Emirates, Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, presented a slow return of academics to campus.50%, then 75%, and [accumulating] until we succeed in full-time education for those who wish to assist in [campus presence] of user through distance education ».

“We must establish a hybrid education formula that gives parents the freedom to decide between their children’s school attendance or distance education during the first semester.”
It indicated that the Ministry of Education had conducted realistic simulation experiments on student attendance at schools to identify demanding situations and opportunities for improvement, and that a detailed plan had been developed for educational establishments to resume their studies.
Hammadi also claimed that the Ministry of Education had established a 24-hour monitoring and inspection formula so that precautionary rules are followed in all schools.
Hammadi also highlighted the inherent and demanding situations that distance education can pose to academics enrolled in higher education courses.He said: “As far as higher education is concerned, learning and distance education have been followed on university campuses according to the nature of the curriculum, as some meetings will be held remotely, while others require the use of laboratories and hands-on schooling courses.”
