A local government leader in the Philippines was trapped having sex with his treasurer, a Zoom call to paintings to talk about the COVID-19 scenario in the region.
Local media reported that the call brought together regional officials from the city of Dasmarias in the Philippine province of Cavite, located on the island of Luzon. The official known as Jesús Estil, the captain of the council of the village of Fatima Dos.
According to local media, the encounter began after Estil attempted to mute his Zoom app, thinking that he had also switched off his video. Estil can be seen, in full view of his colleagues, walking away from the computer to engage in a sex act for several minutes.
Then Stil fastened his pants and returned indifferently to the computer screen. The video recorded through a colleague on the call and has since circulated on Philippine social media.
Outraged citizens temporarily filed a petition for Stil and his treasurer to get rid of the workplace for misconduct.
Interior Philippines spokesman Jonathan Malaya said on Thursday that the act was “inappropriate.”
“It’s appalling and disturbing because it opposes public morals,” he said. “We guarantee to the public that we will investigate this incident and hold the captain accountable.”
Local media that the two leaders have since resigned from their posts.
