KOWEIT, 11 August: Kuwait’s Ministry of Health said Tuesday that another 668 people had tested positive for the new coronavirus (Covid-19), while 4 patients had died from the disease in the last 24 hours.
The new figures bring the total number of infections shown and the number of deaths to 73,068 and 486 deaths, Ministry of Health spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.
The new instances come with 432 Kuwaiti citizens, or 64. 67%, and 35. 33 non-Kuwaiti citizens, or 35. 33%, he said.
Infections across fitness regions, 210 in Ahmadi Health District, 121 in Hawalli Health District, 119 in Jahra Health District, 112 in Farwaniya Health District and 106 in Capital Health District.
Of all cases, 117 patients are in intensive care sets and another 7,890 people are receiving appropriate medical treatment, Dr. Al-Sanad added.
Medical conducted 3658 swab tests in more than 24 hours, bringing the total number of samples from the virus outbreak to 64,759.
