667 of 4,000 test positive in City of Manila’s free, drive-thru COVID-19 testing

MANILA, Philippines – A total of 667 of the approximately 4,000 people who benefited from the loose COVID-19 check behind the wheel of Manila tested positive for the new coronavirus, Mayor Isko Moreno revealed Friday.

Manila recently opened two loose driving check services: one at Lawton Plaza near City Hall and one in the Quirino Grandstand.

“The pinakamabisa, the dahil ngayon alam mo na, the key yung, the hindi ka na basta gala gala. You will naturally survive yourself. He’ll want his circle of relatives to be safe,” he said.

COVID-19 driving verification services are open, on a first-come, first-served basis, to citizens of Manila City.

Similar to immediate verification kits, the city uses blood as samples to verify COVID-19.

Samples are examined serology machines that help detect the presence of IgG antibodies for coronavirus 2 of severe acute respiratory syndrome that causes COVID-19.
