638 launched as Nigeria’s COVID drops to its lowest level

New cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria fell to a new low on Monday, according to knowledge published through the Nigerian Center for Disease Control.

Of the 111 instances reported on Sunday and 160 on Saturday, the NCDC reported 72 instances, with Lagos counting 51.

A similar small number registered on October 5, with only 58 cases.

In recent weeks, the number of contagions has declined, the government warns against complacency, predicting a wave for now.

This wave for now materialized.

According to the NCDC, the remaining 21 Monday came here from six states and the federal capital of Abuja.

They all reported numbers of new infections.

And to highlight that Nigeria has defeated the virus, 638 hospitalized patients have been discharged in the last 24 hours.

“Our landfills now come with 460 network recoveries in Oyo state and 51 network recoveries in Lagos state, controlled according to guidelines,” ncDC said.

The NCDC said 2,561 are now active, out of the 63,036 who showed infections.

Lagos and Abuja account for approximately 50% of cases. While Lagos has 646 cases, Abuja 695.

Oyo is the home of the third active case, in 333.

Ogun is 99, Plateau 95, Rivers and Nasarawa 144.

“On 2 November 2020, new cases were recorded and 1 death in Nigeria

“To date 63036 have been confirmed, 59328 has been released and 1,147 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the territory of the federal capital,” the NCDC said on its website.
