On Friday, Wyandot County Public Health reported 62 active cases of COVID-19 in Wyandot County. Of those cases, 17 are vaccinated and forty-five are not. Four other people were recently hospitalized for COVID-19.
The cumulative number of cases since March 2020 is 6074. This includes 4348 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1726 probable cases. Of those reported, there were 351 hospitalizations, 107 deaths and another 5927 people were discharged from isolation.
The Wyandot County network point according to the CDC is average (yellow). Prevention recommendations come with keeping up with COVID-19 vaccines and getting tested for COVID if there are symptoms.
Current active instances and isolation completion figures are reported with one-day isolation termination rules in accordance with CDC’s existing isolation termination recommendations. These figures differ from the figures reported by the state, which are based on a 21-day recovery period. .

As of 2 p. m. on Thursday, the Ohio Department of Health reported 3,096,557 showed and probable cases, 125,230 hospitalizations and 39,576 deaths of Ohio residents.
