NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM – Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry Askhat Orazbek spoke about the timing of the arrival of 5G in Kazakhstan, Reports Kazinform correspondent.
The 5G generation is being tested lately in pilot mode in some cities of the country with the highest number of users, Deputy Minister Orazbek said at a foreign forum “Towards a digital Kazakhstan” in the Kazakh capital.
On its own terms, the 5G network will be available in population groups, Turkestan and cities of republican subordination, namely Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent.
“We are aware that the advent of 5G will lead to an increase in mobile data traffic and the growth of the IT industry and smart homes. It’s a trend Let’s work with cellular operators. We have a transparent view of how to proceed,” Askhat Orazbek said.
He added that 5G will be had in 2024. “I think the population will be able to enjoy 5G on the territory of our country in two years,” he added.
