Cairo: A bus crashed into a mountainous domain of Oman, killing five other people and injuring 14 others, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said on Saturday.
The injured suffered medium to serious injuries, the ROP added on Twitter.
The bus with 19 other people on board crashed into Al Jebl Al Sharq Mountain in Al Hamra province in northeastern Oman, according to police.
The Al Roya newspaper, citing unidentified sources, reported that the crashed bus belonged to a children’s center.
Social media reported that the bus was carrying orphans traveling on the domain when the turn of fate occurred.
The authorities have commented on this information.
