The Nigerian Centers for Disease Control has shown 437 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 46,577.
The NCDC did so on its official Twitter account on Sunday.
The fitness firm said the number of other people effectively treated and discharged from various rehabilitation centers across the country also increased to 33,186, an increase of another 142 people.
According to the NCDC, as more people recovered from the disease, the country reported 3 new deaths, bringing to 945 the number of those who lost the war opposing the virus.
He said 46577 have been confirmed to date, 33186 have been released and 945 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the territory of the federal capital.
The NCDC reported that of the new instances shown, Lagos had the number of infections: 107, followed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Plateau, which reported 91 and 81 instances respectively.
Among the others, Kaduna – 32, Ogun – 30, Kwara – 24, Ebonyi – 19, Ekiti – 17, Oyo – eight, Borno – six, Edo – six, Kano – four, Nasarawa – 3, Osun – 3, Taraba – 3Array Gombe – two and Bauchi – one.
The fitness firm said a multisectoral National Emergency Operations Center (CSF), activated at Level 3, continued to coordinate national reaction across the country.
The fitness firm said a worn mask prevents drops from touching surfaces when a user coughs or sneezes.
He said Nigerians can simply assume duty dressed in a mask for the spread of COVID-19.

“As long as we continue the fight opposed to COVID-19 this WorldMaskWeek2020, wear a mask in public, wear its mask correctly, practice other preventive measures opposed to COVID-19 and laugh making your own mask,” he says.
