MANILA, Philippines – Confirmed instances of COVID-19 in the country reach 270,000 after the Ministry of Health (DOH) recorded an additional 3,544 infections as of September 15.
The DOH also reported 395 new recoveries and 34 more deaths, bringing the total to 207352 recoveries and 4663 deaths due to COVID-19.
The DOH also noticed changes in its data, revealing that it had discovered and removed 25 duplicates, adding nine recoveries and one death.
In addition, the DOH stated that its final validation revealed that the 538 instances in the past reported as cures were in fact two deaths and 536 active instances.
