Movie sequels can get a bad rap. Sometimes it feels like Hollywood only does sequels and reboots, which can leave audiences without something original. However, many sequels are perfect movies; the most productive would possibly be more wonderful than the original. While sequels aren’t unusual in genres like science fiction, action, and horror, the most productive ones can come from any genre. Many sequels come from megafranchises such as The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars or Pirates of the Caribbean; however, others are undeniable components two or independent sequelae. But what makes a wonderful sequel? The biggest movie sequels feel deserved, fresh, and even necessary, just like each and every movie on this list.
While the videos on this list can be horror, romance, comedy, or even family videos, they all want to be a recognizable sequel to some other movie. This list omits videos that are commonly combined in combination across themes, such as Wang. In The Mood for Love by Kar-wai as a sequel to Days of Being Wild. Lots of great horror sequels. However, The Conjuring 2 is strangely clever and arguably the most productive film in the franchise. It was directed by James Wan and starred Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson.

If you’re not a fan of the Jackass movies, skip this entry. These films are not for everyone nor are they intellectual. However, in the Jackass franchise, 3-D is the most productive film. The film stars Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Steve-O, “Danger Ehren” McGhehey, Dave England, Preston Lacy, Wee Man, and Chris Pontius perform harmful and funny stunts.
The film has a certain reverence and nostalgia for past movies and TV shows, while also pushing the team to spend more and their stunts. However, there is also some melancholy underlying the film. Actors are no longer young, and their bodies may not be. capable of doing this forever. These issues are compounded by the death of Dunn, who died in a twist of automobile fate a year after the film’s release. While most of the team has returned for 2022’s Jackass Forever, 3-D still feels like the end of an era. The film ends with Weezer’s song “Memories,” which pushes the viewer to feel the acrobatics and life they have chosen to lead. Lately it has been broadcast on Paramount.
22 Jump Street is rarely the best film and, as with many comedies, it doesn’t age very well either; however, it’s an oddly clever sequel to a strangely clever remake (2012’s 21 Jump Street, founded on the TV show of the same name). The film follows two police officers who will have to infiltrate a school to arrest a drug supplier.
The film directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who have directed several amazing sequels, including Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson and Phylicia Rashad. Wire’s Herman Dhaliwal wrote: “I’ll say everything I want about the film and more.
