LOS ANGELES (KABC) – A circle of relatives in Guatemala ends tragically for 3 young women from Southern California.
They were killed in a hit-and-run fate twist that involved a giant truck. Family members are looking to increase the budget to bring the sick home.
A few days ago, sisters Natalie Vazquez, Katherine Reyes and Tiffany Garcia, as well as their grandfather, died in a violent twist of fate when a giant truck crashed into their minibus in Guatemala.
The women went there to get to know their mother’s circle of relatives when they were killed on Sunday, according to their circle of relatives.
The women were 18, 20 and 21 years old. The eldest, Tiffany, technically her aunt, but Natalie and Katherine’s mother raised the 3 as sisters: their bond is as close and loving as that of the sisters.
“They were humble. Anyone who approached them would bring peace,” said Cindy Gonzalez, aunt of the 3 young women. “There are no words for them. Anyone who approaches them will know how, they know them, they would know how smart they were.
According to Guatemalan authorities, the driving force of the truck arrested in connection with this fatal hit-and-run accident.
Outside the van Nuys sisters’ house, a monument continues to grow every day.
A GoFundMe account was created to help pay for the return of the three sisters and their burial. So far, more than $30,000 has been raised.
“I really appreciate the help they have given us. The network helped us a lot,” Gonzalez said. The only thing I can say is that we appreciate everything that has been done for my family.
Once enough has been collected, Natalie, Katherine and Tiffany will be taken back to Los Angeles for burial.
