The boot camp is a component of the DfE’s Skills for Life initiative, which focuses on making an investment in lifelong learning and vocational education. Skills for Life offers a range of in-person and online education programmes that aim to give UK citizens the skills they want to succeed in the task they want at any age or level of their career path. As a Skills Bootcamp education provider, edX, through its subsidiary Trilogy Education Services, will provide qualified students with a 16-week fully online program taught by industry professionals.
