Islamabad: Over the past 24 hours, 903 new cases of coronavirus and 27 deaths have been reported in Pakistan, giving hope that the country is on track to flatten the curve.
According to figures shared through the National Command Operations Center (NCOC) on Friday, these promising effects came in spite of more than 20,507 tests conducted nationwide, for a total of 1,973,237 tests.
The number of active instances increased from 26,924 on Tuesday to 25,000, according to the CNOC report.
With these most recent additions, the total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan is 278,305 and 5,951 deaths. According to the NCOC, 1,771 patients are recently admitted to coronavirus in hospitals across the country. The number of other people in critical condition is 210.

The Punjab government has first reported 19 of its districts without new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. However, in general, the province reported 218 cases of coronavirus and 3 deaths. The provincial total was 92,873, while the death toll was 2,140.
