Public higher education institutions accounted for 59. 3 per cent of total admissions
Muscat – The Unified Admissions Center of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation announced on Wednesday the effects of the first variety for the 2022-23 educational year.
Dr. Hamad bin Khalfan al-Numani, Director General of the Unified Admission Center, reported that out of a total of 27,442 educational opportunities offered, 95. 4% or 26,170 academics were admitted to higher education institutions, adding those who benefit from internal and external benefits. Scholarships
Public higher education institutions accounted for 59. 3 per cent of total admissions.
The percentage of scholarship holders accepted with scholarships and internal aid is 38. 4% of the total number of accepted programs, while that of scholarship holders accepted with scholarships and foreign grants is 2. 3%.
The ministry attributed the highest percentage of accepted applicants, 95. 4%, to the highest rate of applicants decided in the unified admission system. Only 4. 6% of the places submitted became vacant due to an inadequate number of fellows who met the admission requirements.
“The final touch of the registration procedures for accepted scholars will begin at 2:30 p. m. m. of Thursday, August 18 and will continue until Wednesday, August 24. This is a vital step that accepted scholars will need to go through the specified era to secure their admission. The Unified Admission Center has posted the effects on its website,” Numani said.
The media will carry out a reselection procedure on the fourth of September for fellows who wish to compete for vacancies.
