212 new COVID-19s registered in Oman, for a total of 82743

Cairo: Oman showed Friday that its general infections of the new coronavirus had increased to 82,743, with 212 new instances opposed to the count reported on Thursday.

Oman’s Ministry of Health has estimated the total number of DEATHS from COVID-19 in 557 with six new deaths.

The total number of patients cured in the sultanate reached 77,427, or 93.6%, the ministry told the Omani news firm ONA.

The ministry added that the number of patients receiving intensive care is 153.

Last week, a report through the Ministry of Health implied that epidemiological knowledge involved minimizing cases of infection in Oman.

The Gulf country has lifted a blockade between its governorates as a relief from restrictions opposing an outbreak of the new coronavirus. The evening curfew has also been shortened, put in position to involve COVID-19.
