Irish gymnast Rhys McClenaghan described the new “anti-sex beds” at the Paris Olympics as “fake news” after testing their robustness upon his arrival in the French capital. Special frames were installed in the Olympic village to prevent athletes from becoming overheated and overwhelmed under the blankets.
Paris is referred to as the City of Love, yet Olympic leaders have taken steps to remove this slogan for participants in the Summer Games. A privacy ban was lifted after Tokyo 2020 banned athletes from sleeping in combination due to the threat of spreading COVID-19 all around the venue, yet such beds were noticed as a stumbling block for any speeding antics.
They have been made entirely of cardboard, with recyclable structures and mattresses, and are not as resistant as classic beds, which led many to describe them as “anti-sex. “

But McClenaghan, a two-time world champion in pommel horses, put that perception to the test, jumping on beds and looking to dismantle furniture, but to no avail.
“I’m at the Paris Olympics and they had those anti-sex cardboard beds again,” she began in a video shared on social media. “When I tried them last time, they stood up to my tests, but maybe I wasn’t. “”Pretty rigorous. “
After recovering and undergoing rigorous training, McClenaghan gave his conclusive testimony: “No, they pass the test. It’s false, it’s fake news!”
Four-time Olympic medalist Louis Smith wrote in the comments: “Who wants an anti-sex bed when you have the word?”, along with a laughing emoji.
And with 300,000 condoms flown to Paris, the wild and enthralling parties were likely to continue after former Manchester City and GB footballer Micah Richards detailed the adventures that unfolded behind closed doors.
“We stayed there 3 nights, we went to train, we went back to the village, those 3 nights we were up until four in the morning,” he said on The Rest Is’ Soccer podcast. “You’ve been given other campuses, Team GB in one block, Brazil, France, all those countries and a huge room full of condoms!

“It was like what, selling sex blatantly, and honestly before God, was on fire. Honestly, it was on fire. I was a little thinner, a little more muscular, a little thinner, it was summer, I was walking without my top. There were several gold medals. One of the most productive moments of my life, it was incredible.
And with sturdy beds on display, capable of supporting up to 200 kh of weight, athletes are said to have been given the green light to use the beds as they wish at the Games, which will take place from July 26 to August 11.
