Abu Dhabi: There has been a 2000% increase in the number of calls earned through the Abu Dhabi Telemedicine Center (ADTC) since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the installation announced.
The fitness telemonitoring and consultation service won 68,524 calls between March and July and made a total of 22,311 teleconsultes, representing 15,289 cases.
In a virtual audit through the fitness regulator, the Ministry of Health, ADTC, owned by Mubadala Healthcare, obtained 98. 7%.
“These effects reflect the combined efforts of the government and the personal sector to combat COVID-19 and demonstrate the importance of telemedicine in optimizing fitness resources and the competence of caregivers to provide remote care,” Abu Dhabi media said Monday.
ADTC is one of Abu Dhabi’s first remote fitness services. Launched in 2016, demand for its services, as well as those of other remote care providers, has increased at an unprecedented rate since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.
