20 more Filipinos abroad contract COVID-19; no new deaths — DFA

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported on Wednesday 20 new COVID-19 cases among overseas Filipinos, driving the total number of infections to 9,165.

The DDF reported new deaths. The death toll remains at 647.

Worldwide, more than 14.5 million people have become inflamed with the new coronavirus, originally from the city of Wuhan, Hubei Province, which expired last year. More than 607,000 have died from the disease worldwide.
