LUCKNOW: The state capital reported 124 new covid cases on Sunday, bringing the number of active covid cases to 724. Of these, 22 are admitted to the hospital, in the fitness department. Uttar Pradesh has reported 811 new cases of covid.
Two deaths have been reported, one in Mirzapur and one in Sultanpur, in the state.
According to the fitness department, among the new patients, 68 are men and 56 are women. Up to 109 patients recovered on the day.
Of the new cases, the 37 highest were those with flu-like symptoms, while 14 were touches from other people who had in the past tested positive for covid and their pattern was taken under contact tracing.
