COVID-19 PREVENTION TIPS:
In addition to washing your hands and not touching your face, the government proposed practicing social distancing, assuming anyone can be carrying the virus.
Health officials say stay at least 6 feet away from others and work at home, if possible.
Use disinfectant wipes or spray cleaners on surfaces touched in your home (doorknobs, faucets, countertops) and carry hand sanitizer with you when stopping at places like stores.
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer also issued executive orders requiring others to cover their mouths and noses with face coverings in crowded indoor and public spaces. See an explanation of what this means here.
