There are 12 new COVID-19s to report today, all detected in controlled isolation and all were transferred to a compromised quarantine facility.

Ten of these cases came from India on 26 September on flight AI 1354 and tested positive during the third day of their stay in controlled isolation. We can report that cases have spread during your flight to New Zealand, between rows 14 and 41.
We recognize that this is a large number of cases. This reflects that, at most, other countries around the world continue to enjoy the best degrees of COVID-19.
It also underlines why we have put in place strong border measures, adding tests on days 3 and 12, to ensure the protection of New Zealanders and New Zealanders.
Among today’s other instances, one case came from the United States on September 26 and was analyzed during the third day of his stay in controlled isolation.
One case came from the Philippines to Taiwan on 23 September and was analyzed because it was a case; tested positive on September 30.
There are 14 other remote people in the Auckland network quarantine facility, which includes five other people who have tested positive for COVID-19 and their circle of family contacts.
