The tourist island of El Hierro in the Canary Islands closed its beaches after suffering its first serious outbreak of coronavirus in months.
Meanwhile, the government’s popular Eat Out To Help Out program ended up in the midst of calls to extend it until the end of the month.
He brought Chancellor Rishi Sunak to help bring the declining hotel industry to life and revive British pubs and restaurants, which had been devastated by the closure.
Under the program, restaurants presented consumers with half-price food and comfortable drinks on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August and raised money.
This occurs when the death toll in the UK has increased from two to a total of 41,501 and reached 335,873.

When staff told him that the program, created to help companies that were barely affected by the coronavirus pandemic, was not meant to be used in this way, the visitor complained about the place to eat on Facebook.

CALL FOR MANDATORY FACE MASKS ON PLANES
Masks deserve to be mandatory on aircraft, according to bosses, after an outbreak on a TUI flight from Greece forced all passengers to be quarantined.
People say they don’t deserve to face fines or even bans amid the coronavirus crisis.
Sixteen passengers tested on the Zante-Cardiff flight before this week, with 193 passengers forced to isolate themselves for two weeks after landing.
Lately there is no face mask on flights at the discretion of the airline.
EasyJet made them mandatory on all flights, and passengers refused to board them, as well as Ryanair and Jet2.
Steve Freudmann, president of the Institute of Travel and Tourism (ITT), warned that it is “not fair” to leave the mandate to the crew.
He told The Telegraph, “It would give everyone more confidence if it became obligatory.”
PM UNDER PRESSURE FROM BOTTOM BENCHES AS MPS RETURNS TO WESTMINSTER
Boris Johnson faces new tension from his back benches for tax clarity, education and coronavirus policy as MPs return to Westminster after the summer break.
The prime minister has been criticized for presiding over a series of U-turns, exam effects and face coverings in schools in recent weeks.
After months of what a Conservative MP said a “morning mega-disaster,” many are asking ministers for assurances as Parliament resumes Tuesday afternoon.
A high-ranking Conservative MP told the Palestinian Authority news firm that MPs “tired of U-turns.”
HUNT: MAKING PUBLIC HEALTH IN ENGLAND THE ” SCAPEGOAT ”
The former fitness secretary told BBC Radio 4’s Today show: “My pleasure in Public Health England was that they essentially did what ministers told them to do, so I think it would make him a scapegoat.
“But I don’t think that means we can’t have the structures we have.”
When asked if the court cases that opposed the organization in terms of the verification record were correct, Hunt said, “I probably think it’s unfair because, if you look back at that time in January and February, you can see that there was a blind spot in the total clinical status quo that went far beyond England’s public health , which made us all need to treat this like a flu that like a Sars, which meant we weren’t focusing on controlling.
“It was a failure that goes back to my time as a fitness secretary, because we organized massive pandemic training to prepare for influenza and not think about SARS viruses.
“I think it would be unfair to take this out of Public Health England, but does that mean we can’t with the structures we have? No, I’m sure we can, so I think it’s probably going to be a positive thing.”
STUDENTS WITH CROWN SYMPTOMS WILL BE SENT HOME
School Minister Nick Gibb said any student with symptoms of coronavirus would be sent home for examination.
He told BBC Breakfast: “I urge parents to send their children back to school to help them recover the lost schooling that will inevitably suffer the lockdown.”
“Schools are doing everything they can to protect their students and staff.”
Asked what would take place if a kid coughed or had a cold, Mr.Gibb said: “If a kid has the symptoms of coronavirus, they will be asked to pass home, pass home, and then the circle of relatives asked to take a test..
“If this verification is positive, then the school will take the recommendation of local fitness coverage groups and involve locating all the youth and adults this child has known, and then those other people will be asked to isolate themselves.
“And then, if that’s the recommendation of the local fitness coverage team, a cell control unit will also go to school to control more young people.
CHILDREN RETURN TO SCHOOL WHEN UNIONS CALL FORHIATUS ON SCHOOL ABSENCE FINES
Education unions are calling for a temporary ban on fines for school absences, as thousands of people return to study rooms in England and Wales.
About 40% of schools are expected to welcome students today to begin the fall semester, despite considerations about their ability to reopen safely.
It will be the first time in England that many academics have entered a classroom since March, when schools were closed, to care for vulnerable young people and key workers.
The National Association of Directors (NAHT) said the government temporarily eliminated fines for parents who do not send their children back to school due to coronavirus considerations.
RUSSIA PASSES CORONAVIRUS 1M BOXES
With a total of 1,000,048 cases reported, Russia has the fourth number of cases in the world after the United States, Brazil and India.
Experts say the actual number of victims of the pandemic is much higher than all reported figures, due to limited evidence, minor cases omitted and cover-up of cases through some governments, among other factors.
On Tuesday, Russia lifted the maximum blocking restrictions on maximum parts of the country.
Last month, the Russian government announced the approval of the first COVID-19 vaccine, a resolution western experts found with skepticism and concern when vaccines were tested on a few dozen people.
Last week, officials announced the start of complex trials of the vaccine in 40,000 people.
It is not clear that vaccination of at-risk equipment, such as doctors and teachers, announced earlier this year will be a component of the trials or carried out in parallel.
PORTUGAL’S RETURN TO QUARANTINE LIST WOULD CAUSE ‘CHAOS AND DIFFICULTY’
Holidaymakers will face “chaos and hardship” if Covid-19 quarantine measures are imposed on the ones arriving in the UK from Portugal, a industry leader has warned.
It is the holiday destination that recorded 21.1 cases of viruses consisting of 100,000 inhabitants last week.
The UK plans to impose 14 days of isolation on travellers when a country’s infection rate is more than 20 cases, consisting of another 100,000 people over seven days.
But the head of British Airways’ parent company said the figures were “arbitrary.”
In the Times, Willie Walsh, managing director of IAG, said that “constantly evolving” quarantine meant that “the UK has officially suspended the ‘closed’ poster.”
He said: “Another change, adding Portugal to the quarantine list, will cause even more chaos and difficulties for travelers.”

“It’s a load of conspiracy that makes no sense”
PIERS CORBYN ON CORONAVIRUS
Jeremy Corbyn’s brother, Piers, gave the impression this morning in Good Morning Britain.
He said: “What we are doing is challenging the government to provide concrete evidence of a virus’s lifestyle.
“Was the prime minister hospitalized for the virus or was in poor health for anything else?
“800,000 died and were classified as Covid when it could have been anything else.
“What we have is a mental operation for the economy in the interest of medical operations.
“There is no need for a vaccine. Vaccines cause death.”
”WE HAVE TO COME BACK FROM THE PEOPLE”
As many as 50,000 other folks in the capital’s retail sector face wasting their jobs due to the lack of visitors, according to the Tory MP for Cities of London and Westminster Nickie Aiken.

“Between about 70 and 80 percent, it’s basically about 50,000 retail losses in the West End alone.”
She added: “They gave us that back, they gave us for businesses, the mayor of London and the government to paint in combination to provide that confidence for other people to come back.”

MEASLES IS A GREATER RISK TO CHILDREN THAN COVID
That’s according to the British pediatrician.
Professor Russell Viner, president of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health, suggested to parents that their children’s vaccination regimen be up-to-date and restore them to elegance as soon as possible.
Some of the MMR jabs were lost due to closures or the parents’ concern to take them to the clinics during closing.
Professor Viner told The Sun: “If your task is to take a look at the children, and if you know that the threat of them deteriorating with Covid is incredibly low, you need to see schools reopen.
“Last week we saw another clinical article telling us that very, very few young people take Covid-19 seriously. We also know that they only play a limited role in the transmission of the virus.”
However, he continued: “Unfortunately, more than 5,000 young people die each year in the UK.Some get infections such as measles or die in traffic accidents.
“We don’t stop them from going to school or getting in their cars. They are given seat belts, they are told not to play on the road and they are vaccinated.
“I am much more involved with the threat of measles to young people than to Covid.
“Please make sure your child’s vaccinations are up to date and add flu shots for next winter.”
PORTUGAL MAY RETURN TO BRITISH QUARANTINE BLACKLIST
It’s just over a week after his retirement.
And Spain is even several weeks away from being considered quarantine-free due to an accumulation of cases.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps and his fellow ministers would be “safe” to re-impose the 14-day self-isolation on arrivals from Portugal until the end of the week.
Cases in the last seven days have risen to 21.1 per 100,000 people, up from 19.4 in August.

LOCKING KIDS ARE THREE MONTHS AGO
In England, young people are in school for 3 months due to confinement, with poor children and young people being the most affected, according to a teacher survey.

The new mandate begins this week in England and Wales.Schools are already back in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

WILLIE WALSH: THE BRIT ‘MUST REMOVE THE CLOSED PANEL’
Writing in the Times, the head of BA’s parent company said the UK had “officially suspended the ‘closed sign’.
He wrote: “The British economy is fueled through our external connectivity and the ease with which we do business with countries.Make no mistake: this is destroyed through the general quarantine of the government when traveling from 160 amazing countries. The UK has officially hung up the “Closed” sign.
“Protecting other people’s fitness is obviously the most sensible priority. But the forced quarantine of an ever-changing list of countries is not effective.Other healthy people can’t be locked up for 14 days just because they’ve traveled.”
“People who are on vacation are no more at risk than someone who takes a bus to the supermarket. The government will have to introduce an undeniable testing regime that allows for a more nuanced technique for regional or city-to-city flight.”
SCHOOLS TO REOPEN THIS WEEK
Many are reopening this week in England and Wales for the first ever-on-one era since March.
Boris Johnson took a big step forward for academics to return in September after months of interruptions and online learning.
The Ministry of Education said that a “system of controls” would be put in place to ensure the protection of academics and teachers, while maintaining a possible social distance.
“I don’t underestimate how complicated the last few months have been, but I know how vital it is for young people to go back to school, not only because of their education, but also because of their progress and well-being,” the education minister said.Gavin Williamson, who is also under pressure following the exam fiasco this summer.
This movement has been welcomed by the maximum schools, however, there is a small cohort of principals who should stagger reopening rather than throwing them all at the same time.
‘RECIPE FOR DISASTERS’
WHO warned today that opening up countries before the virus is low is a “recipe for disaster.”
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has said many others are fed up with restrictions and need to return to general 8 months after the start of the pandemic, Reuters reports.
He said at a press conference: “We need young people to go back to school and get others back to work, but we have to do it safely.
“No country can claim that the pandemic is over,” he said. “The problem is that this virus spreads easily. Opening out of control is the recipe for disaster.”
STUDENTS FACE MORE DELAY IN EXAM
GCSE and A Level students will face a test delay next summer to give students more time to examine the coronavirus pandemic.
Education Secretary Gavin Williamson told the Daily Telegraph: “I know there are considerations about next year’s exams, and that’s why we’ve been working with Ofqual on the adjustments we can make to academics when they pass a GCSE and a level to next year..
“Ofqual will continue to work with the school sector and other stakeholders on whether there will be a short delay in the GCSE, A and AS exams schedule in 2021, with the aim of creating more training time.
The exam season begins in May, however, the newspaper said resources reported that they could return to June and July, but would not cut the summer vacation.

86 consistent with cent felt that it would not be imaginable to minimize student contact.
Two-thirds say the recommendation on how to get to the corridors, entrances and exits with heavy traffic is unrealistic.
Additionally, more than a quarter may not be complying with the Test and Trace program in the event of a coronavirus outbreak at their school.
More than a third of the government’s technique for the protection of coronaviruses in schools will not paint and leaves them “at risk,” according to the survey.
